Bulldogs Win Cahokia Conference Title

Waterloo Junior High School won first place in the Cahokia Conference Tournament. In the title game, the Bulldogs defeated New Athens 64-34 at the Columbia High School gym.

Coach Matt Mason credited the complete play of each of the 15 eighth graders on the team, hard work on defense, solid shooting and putting in a strong effort through practices and the entire season.

WJHS (19-2) next plays in the Marissa Tournament before regional play begins later this month.
