Columbia Volley Wins Labor Day Tournament

Columbia picked up five big wins this week to take home first place in the New Athens / Marissa Labor Day Tournament. The Eagles (6-1) defeated Trico, Lovejoy, Red Bud, Chester and New Athens to take the title. 

Columbia Wins Metro Soccer Cup

August 27, 2017
Columbia High School defeated Belleville West 3-1 Saturday evening to win first place in the Metro Soccer Cup Tournament played at the home turf of CHS. To get to the title game, the Eagles (4-0-1) defeated Gibault and O'Fallon, while drawing a tie with Springfield. 

Pirates Win Shells Volleyball Tournament

Valmeyer’s volleyball team swept the competition to win first place this weekend in the ninth annual Roxana Shells Volleyball Tournament. The Valmeyer Junior Legion team won the District 22 title today, Sunday, July 16, with an 8-2 home victory over Highland 1. The boys of the American Legion Post 901 went undefeated in the tourney played at Borsch Park.
