The old “Hecker Bank” has been demolished to make room for an expansion of the village’s Fire Department building.  The Hecker Fire Protection District plans to start construction on a 6,000 square foot addition to their station in mid-2019.  Midland States Bank had closed the Hecker branch several years ago.
