The Mississippi River ferry from Modoc to Ste. Genevieve is once again operating daily. It runs Monday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $15 ($25 round trip) for cars and pickup trucks.
