Valmeyer Junior Legion Plays In State Tournament

The Valmeyer Junior Legion baseball team competed last weekend in the State Tournament in Moline (Quad Cities). The boys defeated Breese Gray earlier that week to qualify for state play. In the finals, Valmeyer defeated Eureka, but fell to Bethalto and Wheaton. The team is sponsored by Valmeyer American Legion Post 901. photo - Celebrating …
