Waterloo Man Seriously Injured In Accident Involving A Motorcycle

Donald Willyard of Waterloo was seriously injured in a Saturday night accident on the north end of Waterloo.

At 8:30 p.m., Willyard, 65, was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle north on North Market Street. A Honda Civic driven by Waterloo resident Christopher McNealy pulled into his path while pulling out of the Rural King parking lot (north exit).

Willyard suffered a badly injured leg and a head wound. He was flown by helicopter to St. Louis University Hospital.

McNealy, 54, was not injured. He was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
